Precessing the injustice of the SED

As my parliamentary group's rapporteur for dealing with the injustice of the SED, I am concerned with the consequences of the dictatorship, which are still having an impact today. Many victims are still fighting for compensation and pensions, including forced doping in sports, torture and forced labor in prisons. There are still unanswered questions about the erection of monuments and additional memorials, about education, about compensation.

In autumn 2022 I took on an additional topic. I am very pleased that, as my parliamentary group's rapporteur for dealing with the injustice of the SED, I can now deal with an issue that is particularly important to me as a Saxon. Many aspects of the dictatorship still have an impact today, many victims are still fighting for compensation and pensions, for example after forced doping in sports, torture and forced labor in prisons. There are open questions about the erection of monuments and additional memorials, about education, about compensation. In order to deal with these very different topics, I initiated the establishment of an internal group working group, where I would like to work with colleagues from the fields of law, work & social affairs, sports, culture, etc. to ensure an interdisciplinary review.
